Death and Revenge Today's quarter final with Minor Threat saw the death of one of the Dwarf Runners, #10 Speeed.
The frustrations only grew as the Shaitans made three successive touchdowns, leaping and weaving through the Dwarf line like piranha in a jungle river.
That's not to say the Dwarves didn't have their revenge!
In the final moments of the game, Minor Threat badly injured Marwan, Qays and Anwan, piling the Shaitans one on top of the other in the same space like a Dark Elf sandwich!
"That's one for each touchdown you dark hearted, venom-blooded, slipper eels!", shouted the driver of 'The Bonescraper' Deathroller.
The Shaitan coach could only smile, "We *are* venom blooded... they *see* us. They really see us!" |

Light Season Ahead With summer upon us I will be unable to play out all my required games.
No matter... what am I going to do with a reduced cost Wizard when I'll never make any money in a game anyway, win or lose?
I'll looking to keep the Chaos Cup though... oh yeah! I need some witches with claws... or at least Extra Large Breasts.
Could we make that skill up and make it act like Hypnotic Gaze? Hmmm? |

Shaitans Challenge Slaan Claim It is believed that the Shaitans have already set the 6-0 record against the orcs about 4 seasons past.
Shaitan coach Kyrrenthia made that counter claim in the Mithril Spike 09 tourney.
"We're willing to share that glorious claim with the Slaan until such a time as we meet on the pitch.", said Kyrrenthia. "Only then can one of us fairly state that we are the Ass Handing champions".
That is, unless the 6-0 claim cannot be substantiated. |

Death of Hamidan Yes, it is true that one of the original Shaitans did die in the game vs. the Tyrants. Maneuvering away from three norsemen, he tripped up and fell on the ball itself, impaling himslef on it's spikes
His entire career consisted of 14 completions, 12 touchdowns, 14 casualties and 4 MVPs. His player value at the time of his death was 250,000 gold crowns.
Khulus, also an 8-season veteran, was devastated by the loss and feels the void of position #3 more keenly than any other. Differences and flare ups of ego prevented the two from playing successfully together on the same pitch as of late.
Despite the loss, the team has many other promising players following in Hamidan's wake.
Tahsin and Jibril look to be as good or greater than Hamidan himself. Harnal Doomcaster is one of the most successful throwers in the game today. Baari Banethrower and Khaleeda Skullcinder are close to attaining Star Player status themselves in the near future.
True that the expenses of the team precludes its profitability. This will prevent the team from filling the #3 vacancy for some time. But may that vacancy stand in honor of the fallen hero Hamidan—one that stood proud and strong amongst the heroes of the game and elvenkind! |
